Our first year open at the Arts lodge after the renovation we celebrated with the first festival in the park since the war and a first for a voluntary group to organise and it really was a lot of work by many people for 3-4 months.

We called it the full monarchy as it was the queens 50th year and there were free costumes you could change into at the Mr. Bens stall on the entrance supplied by The local theatre Groundlings. It was a very successful day for the whole family and the sun shone on us all day where people enjoyed our theatre shows, main stage, acoustic stage, arts and crafts, face and nail painting, hair braiding and an avant-garde theatre performance at the end.

At present all the photographs of the festival are not available and these do not do the event justice but we do have a great short film of it in events /tag:)
